Webroot Internet Security Essentials has been discontinued. On October 4, 2011, Webroot announced the release of its SecureAnywhere™ line of products.[2] At that time, all existing Essentials licenses were transitioned to Webroot SecureAnywhere Essentials. On October 15, 2012, this product was again updated to Webroot SecureAnywhere® Internet Security Plus.[3] The latest version of Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus includes antivirus, antispyware, anti-phishing, personal firewall, password and identity protection for Microsoft Windows and macOS computers, as well as protection for Android and iOS mobile devices.[4]
