Mesbah Uddin Ahmed (known by his stage name Wasim)or popularly known by Super Star Wasim is a retired Bangladeshi film actor. He's The first Bodybuilder Actor of Bangladesh film industry. in 1964 He was renowned as 'Mr East Pakistan' for Bodybuilding and for Being the most fit person of then east pakistan (Bangladesh) He has worked about 200 Bangladeshi films and 90% movies were commercially Blockbuster on that time. also got an offer to act in Hollywood movies but he denied the offer for personal reasons [1]

Early life

Wasim started his career in the film industry as an assistant director of the film Chhando Hariye Gelo (1972), directed by S.M. Shafi.[1] He first acted in the lead role in the film Rater Por Din (1973).[1] The co-actress of that film was, Bobita[2]

Wasim had a daughter, Bushra Ahmed (d. 2006).[6] His wife died in 2003.[7]
