War in the Land of Egypt or The Egyptian Citizen (Arabic: المواطن مصري, translit. Al-moaten Masry) is a 1991 Egyptian drama film directed by Salah Abu Seif, based on the 1978 novel of the same name by Yusuf al-Qa'id. It was entered into the 17th Moscow International Film Festival.[1]
