Wanderlusting
Wanderlusting, is the second solo album by Deadbeat Darling frontman Joseph King. The album was recorded at Bird Creek Studio in Garrison, New York with musical collaborator Drew Nix who is credited as co-producer. For the album's sound, King said he wanted to get away from the two guitars/drums/bass formula which has defined his past musical projects, and instead pursue a "surfier acoustic pop thing with organs and synth."[1][2][3][4][5]

Reception
The album has received positive reviews from critics with Mick Grady of GoodbyeBabylon.com writing of the single "Don't Be So Alarmist", "The man can flat out write songs".[7] and Chris Bro of Next Podcast commenting of one of King's live performances, "Rock n Roll is not dead. It’s alive and well in the form of Joseph King. His stage presence is colossal, captivating, charming. He is not a one trick pony. Straight forward rock. Soulful and funky. Quiet, pensive, thoughtful acoustic tracks too. He has much to offer from his bag of tricks."[8]
