Waiting and Waiting is the second full-length album released by John Mark Nelson on 12 August 2012. The album was recorded after the comeback of Nelson's music career, and was featured on seven local radio stations in Minnesota.[1]

Examiner rate the album with 4/5 stars and wrote: "The whole record becomes even more impressive when we find out that John Mark Nelson is only 18 years old, and already creating works this incredibly full and accomplished."
Daily Planet wrote: "The album is a self-contained outing. All songs written, arranged, performed, recorded and mixed by John Mark Nelson. Frankly, he could've used some help with the creativity."
