Vishnu Hari Dalmia

Vishnu Hari Dalmia (6 May 1924 16 January 2019)[1] was a noted Indian industrialist and a prominent member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Early life

He was a scion of Dalmia Group of industries and the eldest son of Jaidayal Dalmia.[1][2][3] He was one of the senior members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, served as various post in organization as president, international president and currently patron and in advisory board of VHP.[4] He also played important role in Ram Janmabhoomi movement and is one of the co-accused in Babri Masjid demolition case.[5][6][7][8] Dalmia Bros is managed by Vishnu Hari Dalmia's sons, Sanjay Dalmia and Anurag Dalmia, Dalmia Bharat Group that is managed by Gautam Dalmia and Puneet Dalmia, Orissa Cement, Renaissance Group and their subsidiaries.

He died on 16 January 2019 at his Golf Link Residence in Delhi.[9]
