History

Having lived among the Christians in Thebes, members of the Legion refused Maximian's orders to worship the gods of Rome. Victor was killed at Solothurn during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. He and Ursus of Solothurn are patron saints of the Cathedral of St. Ursus and St. Victor in Solothurn, Switzerland. His feast day is 30 September.[1]
