Vicente Mijares

Vicente Mijares Saldivar (born June 14, 1954 in Gómez Palacio, Durango, Mexico) is a Mexican former professional boxer in the Lightweight division. He's the uncle of both undefeated Lightweight prospect Ricardo Mijares and former three-time World Champion, Cristian Mijares.[1]

Professional career

WBC Lightweight Championship

In June 1977, Mijares lost to WBC Lightweight Champion Esteban De Jesus, the bout was held at the Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.[2]
