History
Venus was unveiled on 28 October 2012 at the Feadship shipyard in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands. The yacht was named for the Roman goddess of love.[5]
The yacht was impounded on 21 December 2012 at the Port of Amsterdam following a dispute over payment. The designer, Philippe Starck, claimed that Jobs' heirs owed him €3 million of his €9 million fee for the project.[6] The yacht was only impounded for a few days until the dispute was resolved.[7]

gollark: "The very word 'law enforcement' implies going hard against any violation of the law. My point is that since even the best effort at law enforcement is still somewhat imperfect, you should take a more lax stance, maybe allow basic crimes everywhere."
gollark: It's a stupid point which is *clearly* stupid if generalized to other things.
gollark: ... that is so beeoidal.
