Ustyuzhensky Uyezd

Ustyuzhensky Uyezd (Устюженский уезд) was one of the subdivisions of the Novgorod Governorate of the Russian Empire. It was situated in the northeastern part of the governorate. Its administrative centre was Ustyuzhna.

Demographics

At the time of the Russian Empire Census of 1897, Ustyuzhensky Uyezd had a population of 99,737. Of these, 99.6% spoke Russian, 0.1% German, 0.1% Estonian and 0.1% Karelian as their native language.[1]
