History and description

The farmhouse dates from the late 17th century. In a mid-Victorian tithe map the farm is listed as the property of Henry Clifford.[1] The property remains the farmhouse of a privately-owned farm.[2] The house is of five bays with a hipped roof and has been substantially modernised. The interior is "well-preserved" and Cadw notes the presence of an "exceptionally fine dog-leg staircase".[1] The farmhouse is Grade II* listed,[1] and the cider house and pigsty have their own Grade II listings.[3][4]

Notes

gollark: I mean, people obviously quite like the idea of central economic planning for various fairly good reasons (not that communism means that now to a lot of people!).
gollark: It does not sound good "on paper" if you think about it for more than 5 seconds.
gollark: I know all information, actually.
