History

The United Kingdom and the Japan began negotiations on the 12 May, 2020 and have currently had one round of negotiations[2]

On the May 13, 2020 , the United Kindgom released a Negotiation Objectives legal text outlining details of the UK - Japan Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement they would like to see.(for the document please look at the Documents section)[3]
