U.S. Route 190 Business (Covington, Louisiana)

U.S. Highway 190 Business (BUS US 190, officially 190-X) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves St. Tammany Parish. It spans 2.94 miles (4.73 km) in a southeast to northwest direction. It is known locally as 21st Avenue and Boston Street. It is also the route used to access LA 21 South.

Route description

From the west, Business US 190 begins travelling eastward into downtown Covington. The older alignment of US 190, it meets LA 21 at a signalled intersection, and LA 21 is combined with Business US 190 until the Business 190 designation is dropped at the current US 190. Going through downtown, the now-combined Business US 190/LA 21 intersect LA 437. After under a mile, the Business US 190 designation is dropped, leaving US 21 to continue in an easterly direction.

Business US 190 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
