History
U-Turn Audio was founded by three friends from Lexington High School[1], Robert Hertig, Peter Maltzan, Benjamin Carter in 2012. They raised money via an incubator program at Northeastern University and a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign[2] to build the first prototype and begin manufacturing operations.[3][4] U-Turn Audio assembles turntables by hand in their workshop in Woburn, MA.[5][6] Most of the turntable parts come from American suppliers.[7]
The company distributes in the United States and Canada.[8]
