Typhoon Chataan (disambiguation)
The name Chataan has been used to name one tropical cyclone in the western north Pacific Ocean. The name, which means a 'rainy day' in Chamorro language, was contributed by the United States of America.
- Typhoon Chataan (2002) (T0206, 08W, Gloria) – deadliest storm in Chuuk.
In the ESCAP/WMO Typhoon Committee of January 2004, the name Chataan was retired and was replaced by the name Matmo, and means heavy rain in the Chamorro language.
