Tulani Bridgewater

Tulani Bridgewater is an American Record producer and Casting Director. She is the daughter of Grammy and Tony Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater and renowned Jazz trumpeter Cecil Bridgewater.

Biography

Born in New York City, Bridgewater studied at the Mirman School, École Internationale Bilingue- Victor Hugo School and Vassar College. Her musical career began with Ken Fritz Management, whose roster included George Benson, Michael Feinstein, Peter, Paul and Mary, and later with Open Door Management (Kurt Elling, Billy Childs, Shelly Berg and others.) She joined the Nickelodeon talent and casting department amassing credits with breakthrough live-action, animated and features casting.

Bridgewater went on to partner with Dee Dee Bridgewater in the formation of DDB Productions and DDB Records, release Grammy nominated and winning releases by Dee Dee Bridgewater, Theo Croker and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. Her projects And collaborations have included a diverse clientele, including Soshy, Don Grusin, Kellylee Evans, LeKat and others.

Bridgewater serves as head of Bridgewater Artists Management, as well as Co-Artistic Director of The Woodshed Network (in partnership with 651Arts and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation). In addition to serving as a content creator and on-air personality, Bridgewater also sits on the Advisory Board of The Woolfer (formerly "What Would Virginia Woolf Do?).
