Plot Outline

Tujhyat Jeev Rangala is the love story of Rana and Anjali. Rana is a farmer and a wrestler, while Anjali is a highly educated school teacher who has recently moved to Rana's village near Kolhapur. The difference in their mindset, upbringing and lifestyle makes their love story sweet and complicated at the same time. The show also focuses on the tussle between the two daughters in law of the Gaikwad household, Anjalibai and Nandita.

Story

Ranvijay Gaikwad aka Rana Da is the elder son of Prataprao Gaikwad who is a minister and a big political personality of a village near Kolhapur. Rana is a wrestler and a farmer too, but he is illiterate as he never went to school. Being a wrestler he is following the rules of wrestling community and he should not talk to or contact any women except his own relatives.[2] Rana has a younger brother Suraj Singh Gaikwad aka Sunny Da. Suraj is a brat and good for nothing, owing mainly to his bad habits such as spending his time by drinking & wandering in village with other brats and throwing parties just for show off. Suraj is married to Nandita. Playing a vamp, she is very egoistic as she is from the rich and politically connected Jadhav family. Nandita wants entire control on Gaikwad family hence her every intention is not letting Rana to get married, cause she is in dead fear that if Rana gets married then automatically Rana's spouse will become prime woman of the family, as the elder son's wife.

Anjali is a very smart and highly educated girl from Kolhapur. She is appointed as a school teacher in Rana's village, because her bank employee father gets transferred into this village. Anjali with her father and mother is staying in this village happily. One fine day she encounters Rana and their story starts with friendship.[3][4]

The show later focuses on the jealousy between Nandita and Anjali. It also provides flashbacks like Rana Da's childhood and Nandita's life before marriage.

2 years later

Nandita attempts to murder Rana by dashing him into a river. He becomes unconscious due to the impact, but miraculously survives and floats along the river all the way to a small village in northeastern Karnataka. A local, Rajgonda, finds the floating body and rescues Rana. He is well taken care of at Rajgonda's home until full recovery. One day, Rana tells Rajgonda about how he fell in the river, and how Nandita plans to capture Gaikwads' property after kicking out Prataprao and becoming the prime woman in the home as Anjali got widowed. After knowing this, Rajgonda disguises Rana into a goon named Raja Rajgonda in order to take revenge on Nandita. Rana, now Raja, pretends to be a property matter consultant so that Nandita gets trapped one day. He does so with many struggles, as his whole hometown village is convinced that Rana is dead with his body lost in the river. In fact, Anjali refuses to believe Raja is Rana in disguise and kicks him out of the home several times. Later, Rana reveals his alive self and also reveals Nandita's true character and deeds. The whole Gaikwad family turns against her and files complaint to the police. Eventually she gets convicted of money laundering and attempted murder, and receives a lengthy prison sentence. A few days later, Suraj files a divorce against Nandita in a fit of anger by the betrayal she showed throughout the marriage.

6 years later

Now Rana and Anjali give birth to their daughter Rajalaxmi. Rana decides to join the police force because he likes a profession which involves community service, however becomes a simple constable owing to his illiteracy. Everything is going good until Nandita's paternal uncle Nivruti Kaka arranges Suraj's marriage with Madhuri, a child abductor, in order to end the Gaikwad family. Will Rana and Anjali save Suraj and all Gaikwads from this danger?
