Truck Dismount

Truck Dismount (also known as Rekkaturvat) is a computer game made by Jetro Lauha of tAAt. Truck Dismount is a simple stress-reliever, allowing players to release their anger on a 3D stick figure.[1]

The game has no other aim but to cause as much damage to the ragdoll physics man as possible. The figure can interact with ramps, a truck and a wall.

Players can sit the man in the truck, on the cabin, on the very top, or stand him in front of it. The player sets the speed of the truck and where the ramps are located if they are to be present at all and simply lets the carnage unfold. Players are given points dependent on how much damage they inflict on the stick figure. Glitches include making the man soar several metres into the air by positioning him just at the edge of a ramp, and embedding the man partway into the truck's still intact windshield after a violent impact.

Truck Dismount was part of the Game/Play UK art exhibition in 2006. [2]

Dismount Levels

Dismount levels is an editor tool for creating Dismount-like games, and is also made by tAAt. It has been discontinued.

gollark: Oh, wait, no it doesn't.
gollark: It seems like just bodging in a 0.5 second delay makes it work basically fine somehow.
gollark: I'm kind of amazed that this system actually generally works, to be honest.
gollark: Now to waste another 3 or so diamonds on moar tracks.
