- Hurricane Abby (1968), a category 1 hurricane that impacted Cuba and the Southeastern United States
In the Northwestern Pacific Ocean
- Typhoon Abby (1979) (PAGASA: Barang), a category 3 typhoon that did not approach land
- Super Typhoon Abby (1983) (PAGASA: Diding), a category 5 super typhoon that caused serious damage in Japan
- Typhoon Abby (1986) (PAGASA: Norming), a category 2 typhoon that hit Taiwan
