Sport career
Terpstra's first competition was on 31 December 1927 in Deersum. During her career she won at least 31 prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Most of the prizes were money prizes, but she also won a pair of skates.[1] In the winter of 1930-31 Geesje Woudstra won almost all races. Terpstra was the only skater who once beat Woudstra that winter, in four races on 8 February 1931 in Jorwerd.[2]
