Career
Dalton works as a staff writer for The Weekend Australian[3] and previously worked for The Courier-Mail.[4] In 2018 he published Boy Swallows Universe through 4th Estate,[5] which was longlisted for the 2019 Miles Franklin Award.[6]
In May 2019 the adaptation rights for Boy Swallows Universe were won by Anonymous Content, Chapter One and Hopscotch Features, to be directed by Australian actor and director Joel Edgerton.[7]
