Travancore Engineering College
Travancore Engineering College at Roaduvila, Kollam district was a self-financing college affiliated to the University of Kerala. The college was under the Travancore Education Society, Kallabalam. The college started in 2002 with three courses. In February 2017 the management of the college announced it was planning to shut it down due to financial problems.[1] Following students', parents' and teachers' complaints, in March 2017 the University of Kerala issued an order allowing students of the college to shift to other nearby self-financing colleges of their choice.[2] In 2018 it was reported that the college had voluntarily closed down and had not sought re-affiliation.[3] The college reopened under new management in 2019.The college is in 26 acres of land.
