Distribution
This species was first described from Nivani Island, Louisiade Archipelago, Papua New Guinea. The original description also includes specimens from Bali and Okinawa.[1] A specimen from Lizard Island, Queensland is probably this species.[3]
Description
This goniodorid nudibranch is opaque white in colour. The oral tentacles are translucent orange and the rhinophores and gills are edged with the same colour. There is a dark brown bar across the front of the head between the oral tentacles.[4]
Ecology
Trapania gibbera probably feeds on Entoprocta which often grow on sponges and other living substrata.
gollark: This one is just Newcomb's paradox, but really, all things ever should contain it.
gollark: I have not seen an actual IQ test in the span of time I remember.
gollark: Options are in a randomized order, for purposes.
gollark: There were plans to make a new shiny standalone webapp, but I never finished this. The prototype has some stuff.
gollark: I probably cannot share the actual form, because it's maybe tied to my school account in a visible way.
