Transylvania (board game)

Transylvania is a 1981 board game published by Mayfair Games.

Gameplay

Transylvania was part of Mayfair's line of simple, playable games, and involves a struggle for control of Transylvania between the villagers, consisting of knights, men-at-arms, clerics and peasants on one side, and the monsters, consisting of vampires, bats, rats, wolves and skeletons, on the other.[1]

Reception

William A. Barton reviewed Transylvania in The Space Gamer No. 46.[1] Barton commented that "Transylvania was obviously an early effort on Mayfair's part; the other titles in the line are much superior. Still, Transylvania might suffice if you want a very simple game about vampires."[1]

gollark: There is actually someone here working on memristor neural network hardware, apparently.
gollark: Good [TIME OF DAY].
gollark: It probably just pulls from the same APIs as Google Maps. Maybe you could make a clone using that.
gollark: On another server I'm on we have moderator, "moderator", ""moderator", """moderator""", and """"moderator"""". Clearly this place should do that with administrator!
