History

The company was founded by Trammell Crow in 1948.

In October 2005, the company merged its St. Louis business with that of Krombach Partners, Inc.[1]

In April 2006, the company acquired Brandon Wiant Converse, a boutique commercial real estate services firm in Cleveland, Ohio.[2]

In June 2006, the company announced that it would be acquired by CBRE Group.[3]

In 2010, the company moved its headquarters from Trammell Crow Center to 2100 McKinney Ave.[4]

In June 2016, the company acquired 29 acres from the Port of Portland for $7.8 million.[5]

In October 2019, Trammel Crow Company acquired London, UK-based Telford Homes in a £267m deal.[6][7]

In July 2020, Trammell Crow Company (TCC) broke ground on Fulton Labs. The 423,454-square-foot building would cover 16 levels, including 12 modern wet and dry laboratory levels. The facility is built to provide researchers with the versatility they need with features such as column-free and long-span configurations, and laboratory room that satisfies VC-A vibration requirements, which is essential to researchers when they look for reproducible findings.[8]
