History and profile

The magazine was previously titled Network and was published by the Railways of Australia Committee. Network was published at least as late as Oct-Nov-Dec 1990 (Vol. 27, No. 4).

Track & Signal was established in October 1996[1] and the first issue was the January–March 1997 issue.[2] The magazine is published by the Australasian Railway Association (which includes New Zealand).[3] The headquarters is in Melbourne.
