Tony Church (trailer writer)
Gerald Anthony Church (Tony Church) (October 11, 1928 – February 19, 1995) was a trailer writer, who worked on a number of Carry On films and other films as the trailer writer.
Life
Tony Church was born in Luton, England. He went to Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School. In 1952 Tony married Kathleen Sullivan and they had three children. He started out as a copywriter but spent most of his working life at General Screen Enterprise (G.S.E.) writing trailers. Whilst there he did the work for various films and wrote the script for "That's Carry On!".[1]
He died in 1995.
