The company is preparing to launch several international pension products for consumers including one of Europe's first Pan-European Pension Products the legislation for which is designed to encourage new types of lifetime income pensions for Europe's consumers and to develop a safer, more cost-efficient and transparent market in affordable and voluntary personal pension savings that can be managed on a pan-European scale.[1]

Awards

In October 2019, McClelland accepted an award on behalf of Tontine Trust from the Transparency Task Force, presented by its founder Andy Agathangelou,[2] in recognition of his & Tontine Trust's efforts towards increasing transparency in financial services.

Trademark

The company has been granted a European trademark for tontines as a pension product. The trademark includes the phrase "Live, Long & Prosper" which initially drew opposition from CBS Studios however CBS withdrew their opposition.[3]
