Tom Dougherty

Tom Dougherty (May 30, 1881 – November 6, 1953), nicknamed "Sugar Boy", was a baseball pitcher for the Chicago White Sox in 1904. He is perhaps unique for his 'perfect' 1-0 winning record where he faced 6 batters over 2 innings without giving up any hits, walks or runs in the one game he pitched.[1]

gollark: How do you detect CK-class events?
gollark: THEY. ARE. APIOFORMS.
gollark: * apioforms, and they might probably hopefully be detected.
gollark: Because they work very differently to humans, they are able to detect apioforms which would cloak themselves from human perception.
gollark: Pick your favourite option!- thatisthejoke.webp- The majority of known antimemes specifically affect human consciousness/brainy things, so we use highly advanced AI systems™ programmed in javascript™ to attempt to detect and neutralize antimemetic apioforms.
