Tmetolophota purdii

Tmetolophota purdii, the orange astelia wainscot, is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is endemic to New Zealand.[1] It was described by R. W. Fereday in 1883 from a specimen collected by Alex. Purdie (the son of Alexander Callender Purdie)[2] in a field near Fairfield.[3]

The larvae feed on Astelia and Collospermum species.[4]
