Time and the Conways (Russian: Время и семья Конвей, romanized: Vremya i semya Konvey) is a 1984 drama film directed by Vladimir Basov and based on the eponymous 1937 play by English playwright J. B. Priestley,[1] filmed in 1984.

Plot

Action takes place in England during the 20 years between the two wars. The film explores the relationship in the once wealthy bourgeois family, whose members, in their own way, are experiencing the collapse of their plans and hopes.

Cast

Almost all the characters in their youth were played by the children of those actors who played these same characters in their old age.[2]

gollark: It makes me hate chemistry, because really who wants to go around calculating empirical formulae all day when it's really easy to automate?
gollark: i.e. quantitative chemistry homework I recently got in which we had to do the same easily automatable tedious thing which we are forced to do manually for some reason 10 times.
gollark: I mean, to some degree it's useful to reinforce stuff. Unfortunately it's mostly horrible and useless.
