History
During the summer of 2015, Walibi Rhône-Alpes was proposing a new wooden roller coaster for the 2016 season.[1]
During IAAPA 2015, Walibi Rhône-Alpes announced that the ride would be called Timber.[2] It opened to the public on April 9, 2016.
Ride Experience
Upon leaving the station, the train climbs the 55.8-foot (17.0 m) lift hill. At the top of the lift hill, it makes a right turn before dropping 54.8 feet (16.7 m), reaching 40 miles per hour (64 km/h). The train travels through an airtime hill over the pathway. This is followed by a left turn and banked sections. Following a double right turn, the train hits a smaller airtime hill and a left turn. It goes through a smaller drop and a right turn. Some airtime hills are followed by the final brake run.
