Tim Owen (barrister)
Tim Owen (1958- ), QC, is an English barrister at Matrix Chambers. His main areas of practice are crime and regulatory, public, human rights, police and sports law.

Education and career
Educated at United World College of the Atlantic and LSE. Owen was called to the Bar in 1983 he was appointed QC in 2000, earning the title of silk. He is currently a member of Matrix Chambers.[1]
Personal life
Tim Owen married actress Jemma Redgrave, a member of the Redgrave family, in 1992. They had a son, Gabriel in 1994. The couple separated from 1997 to October 1998. They reconciled, however, and had another son, Alfie in 2000.
