Background and recording

In 2009, after Girls Aloud began an initial year-long hiatus, Harding began working on solo material and started acting.

Harding took a break from recording her solo material in 2012 to return to Girls Aloud for their Ten greatest-hits album and tour. Their split was announced in March 2013.

In 2014, Harding performed a showcase in Islington, London, featuring new song "L.O.V.E" among hits by her former group. She later competed in BBC1 TV gymnastics series Tumble, reaching the top three.

Release and promotion

To promote the single and EP, Harding embarked on a radio tour and also appeared on television programmes such as ITV's Lorraine and This Morning.
