This Is Music Ltd

This Is Music is an artist management and music collective with offices in London and Los Angeles. The company was established in 2007 by artist manager Oli Isaacs.[1]

The company represents artists, producers and DJs including Simian Mobile Disco,[2] Little Boots, Tensnake, Bicep, Medlar, Roosevelt, Blondes, Teengirl Fantasy and Light Year.

This Is Music also runs a number of independent record labels including Feel My Bicep, Delicacies, More Music and its own This Is Music imprint having released records by artists including DJ Mujava, Midland, Marc Romboy, Invasion, Findlay Brown, Sisters of Transistors, Boy 8-Bit, Alexander Robotnick, Plant Plants, and Kisses.

History

In 2008, the management firm ie:music became part owner of This is Music.[3] In 2009 This Is Music set up two sub-label: More Music is a collaborative partnership with features editor Ralph Moore of dance music magazine Mixmag. More Music concentrates on house and techno music. The other sub label is Less Music which focuses on the more abstract and outré.
