Thembeni Nxangisa
Skully Thembeni Nxangisa is a South African politician who has served as the Free State MEC (Member of the Executive Council) for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) and a Member of the Free State Provincial Legislature since May 2019. Nxangisa is a member of the African National Congress.

Politcal career
Nxangisa is a member of the African National Congress. For the 2019 general election, he placed 8th on the ANC's provincial list.[1] The ANC managed to win 18 seats in the provincial legislature. Nxangisa was sworn in as an MPL, when the legislature reconvened on 22 May 2019.[2]
On 28 May, premier Sisi Ntombela announced her new Executive Council for the sixth administration. Ntombela appointed Nxangisa as the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. He was sworn in on the same day and succeeded Oupa Khoabane.[3][4]
Personal life
Nxangisa tested positive for COVID-19 on 25 July 2020.[5]
