The World Is Outside is a DVD-R compilation and an audio extract release of the DVD The World Is Outside by Nosound. The music on tracks 1-3 were recorded live on January 5, 2005 at Stazione Birra, Rome, Italy. Tracks 4-6 are songs that were unreleased on any other medium. Tracks 7-9 are outtakes from the Sol29 sessions that were not included on the album.
