The Wheel – Supporting Voluntary Activity in Ireland
The Wheel is a leading support and representative network for the community and voluntary sector in Ireland. It works to strengthen organisations as well as the sectoral infrastructure and environment. It provides a wide range of support services, advice and advocacy to individuals and organisations as they are vital components for a cohesive and healthy society.
The Wheel produced the National Guide to Pay and Benefits in Community, Voluntary and Charitable Organisations[1]
The Wheel is similar in nature to the UK councils for voluntary activity: NCVO, SCVO, WCVA, NICVA.
