The West Wind (newspaper)
The West Wind is Cranston High School West's student-produced newspaper. Currently, articles are published through the CHSW Media app, available for Apple and Android devices for free. Each article is published standalone. The paper is edited and designed using Adobe InDesign.
The West Watch
The West Watch is West's online news broadcast. This particular medium houses stories originally written in the West Wind that are converted into video broadcasts, combining the school's media program's writers and videographers. Created in 2005, the West Watch received a first-place award as best broadcast at the NESPA conference. In addition, it also won several individual achievement awards.

gollark: No human could come up with the really optimized biochemistry we use and make it work as well as evolution did, so in that way it's more "intelligent".

gollark: There are also things like how eyes are somewhat backward, food/water and air use the same pipes, there is no conscious diagnostics capability, the immune system sometimes randomly declares war on body parts it doesn't like, and the head/neck is a ridiculous vulnerability.
