The Third Charm

The Third Charm[5] (Korean: 제3의 매력; RR: Je3ui Maeryeok) is a 2018 South Korean television series directed by Pyo Min-soo and starring Seo Kang-joon and Esom. It explores the real side of relationships between couples. It aired on JTBC's Fridays and Saturdays at 23:00 (KST) time slot, from September 28 to November 17, 2018.[6][7][8][9]

Synopsis

The series tells the twelve-year love story of two individuals with completely opposite personalities, who unexpectedly meet on a group blind date in their 20s. They meet again when they are 27 years old, and for a third time as 32 year olds.

Production
  • The female lead role was first offered to Chun Woo-hee and Choi Soo-young in April and May 2018 respectively, but both actresses declined the offer.[21][22]
  • The first script reading was held in July 2018 at JTBC building in Sangam-dong, Seoul.[23]
  • Overseas filming took place in several cities in Portugal.[3]
