The Lodge Gallery

The Lodge Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in New York City's Lower East Side and is active in the primary market.[1] The gallery is owned and directed by founders Keith Schweitzer and Jason Patrick Voegele.

The gallery is located in Manhattan at 131 Chrystie Street where it hosts visual art exhibitions in a salon atmosphere.[2]

Voegele and Schweitzer were named as "Young New York Art Dealers to Watch" by Artnet News.[3]

Voegele is the founder of Republic Worldwide Fine art & Logistics and has served as director of development and marketing for Fountain Art Fair, was owner and curator of MCV/NYC Gallery) and worked at Yancey Richardson Gallery and American Primitive Gallery. Voegele is a recurring critic for the NYFA Doctors Program.[4] He is a graduate of the Pratt Institute master's program in painting and art history.[5]

Schweitzer is also an owner/director of DAVID&SCHWEITZER Contemporary, a gallery located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. He has been a guest speaker at the Brooklyn Museum[6] and was director of public art for the Lower East Side's Fourth Arts Block, where he has coordinated public art exhibitions with grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of New York.
