The Late Edwina Black (TV play)

The Late Edwina Black is a 1964 Australian television play. It was based on a play by William Morum and William Dinner which had been filmed numerous times before. It was adapted by Noel Robinson.

It aired on the ABC in Melbourne on 23 September 1964 and in Sydney on 16 September 1964. It was filmed in Sydney.[1][2]

Plot

At Amberwood, a country estate not far from London, Edwina Black has been murdered with arsenic. Several people could be suspects including her husband Gregory, his spinster lover Linda, and elderly housekeeper Ellen. Inspector Grey investigates.

Production

ABC designer Jack Montgomery found two 70 year old dresses in a house in Ashfield.[3]

gollark: We could cut the first 6 chars off for control codes. Either "packet and sequence number" or "establish connection" or "please resend".
gollark: An issue, though, is that if we want to use base 64 then we'll lose several bytes if the first two chars of each label are used thag way.
gollark: We would need a way of dealing with timing desyncs though, maybe a sequence number.
