The Great Office War is an online video produced by Runaway Box and originally uploaded on YouTube on June 16, 2008.[1] The short was written and directed by Woody Tondorf, originally made as part of HBO's new media initiative, HBO Labs. As of January 2019, the video has been viewed over 11,222,000 times.

In 2009, Funny or Die, in cooperation with Hasbro, produced an official series of comedy sketches titled Nerf on the Job. While not related to this video, the sketches use the same premise of using Nerf blasters in an office environment.[2]
Plot
It is 4:30 p.m. at a busy office. sales department worker grabs his Nerf blaster and shoots at the I.T. and they have lunch
gollark: There's !!FUN!! with AV1/VP9 now where Google and such claim that there are no relevant patents, and a random patent troll claims that yes there are and you need to pay them money.
gollark: Guess? Wait for someone to complain?
gollark: They seem to at least work for patent trolls.
gollark: If you don't, you MAY be lawsuited.
gollark: What muons? You haven't been converted yet.
