Boris the Bee was kidnapped by a group of anti-social ants and his cousin Barnabee must rescue him.[1] The player must travel through an underground ant complex; which has four different entrances into the above-ground world.[1] Ants must be avoided; as they force the player to lose strength.[1] Pollen must be accessed through flowers in order to gain lost strength.[1]

The general arrangement of the game is a maze; flowers will remove barriers elsewhere in the complex.[1] The individual screens are also self-contained mazes.[1] Each screen may have more than one exit.[1]

Reception

Antics was placed at number 46 in the official top 100 list that was created by British gaming magazine Your Sinclair.

gollark: I have it installed on my server and laptop in case I randomly need to transcode some videos or audio.
gollark: ffmpeg can convert MORE media.
gollark: Yes, look at all this efficient use of CPU power.
gollark: Also my server hardware, which mostly sits there massively underutilized.
gollark: Technically I just have a laptop with a trackpad, but... sure?
