Series 1 (2015)
Una Stubbs and Richard Bacon host this art competition in which 10 keen amateurs take on three specially designed challenges each week, showing their skills using a wide range of mediums. Painters and expert judges Daphne Todd and Lachlan Goudie decide who will be leaving.
Series 2 (2017)
The nationwide search for Britain's best amateur artist returns, with Mariella Frostrup and the Rev Richard Coles taking over hosting duties. Judges Lachlan Goudie, Daphne Todd and David Dibosa assess their efforts and decide who should be eliminated from the contest. Diana Ali and Pascal Anson also joined the programme as mentors to the painters.
Series 3 (2018)
Mariella Frostrup and Rev Richard Coles return to present a third series of the art contest, which begins with 10 contestants. Every week, the finished art is displayed to members of the public, who get the chance to vote for their favourite, before judges Lachlan Goudie and Daphne Todd decide who will be the first to be eliminated. In week 2, Fraser Scaarfe was a guest judge in Lachlan's absence.

Six celebrities from screen, film and sport put their day jobs on pause and pick up a paintbrush to pursue their private passion. The competition gets underway with Jane Seymour, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Phil Tufnell, George Shelley, Amber Le Bon and Josie d'Arby. Mariella Frostrup presents and judges Daphne Todd OBE and Lachlan Goudie return to the painting series to critique and review our celebrity artists’ work. After the judges give our artists some constructive criticism on their very first task, mentors Diana Ali and Pascal Anson prepare a masterclass to help hone our celebrities’ skills, focusing on facial features. All are determined to please the formidable judges, who will be choosing their favourite two paintings while the public are invited to pick one. For the celebrities to be considered for the final, they’ll need to get at least one of their paintings up on the revered gallery wall. Which artists will win a coveted place?
