The Big Exchange (Russian: Менялы) is a 1992 Russian-American comedy film directed by Georgiy Shengeliya.[1][2][3]

Plot
The film takes place in 1961, when the Soviet Union launched Gagarin into space, foreigners exchanged 1 American dollar for 65 Soviet kopecks, and two people, on the instructions of an underground millionaire, exchanged money for gold coins.[4]
