Texas State Highway Spur 501
Texas State Highway Spur 501 (Spur 501), also known as the La Porte Spur or South Broadway Street is a short Texas State Spur in Harris County, Texas. It runs north-south through La Porte and Shoreacres.

History
Spur 501 was established on December 1, 1971 from its current southern terminus north to Ave. J in La Porte. On January 28, 1977, the northern 1.1 miles of the route was transferred to Loop 410 (became Bus. SH 146 on June 21, 1990, and this section was given to the city of La Porte on March 26, 2009).[1]
