Teretia fusianceps is an extinct species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Raphitomidae.[1]

Fossils of this marine species were found in Miocene strata in the Netherlands
gollark: I've noticed that requests for images *linked* in a Discord channel apparently go *through* Discord, which is a bit worrying and probably how the thing detects that.
gollark: It just has slightly bizarre metadata (creation date *after* modification date?) and was apparently made in paint.net.
gollark: I've looked at the image, and it doesn't seem to do anything special if viewed. I initially thought it was an animated PNG or something, but it shows as a normal PNG to everything.
gollark: And I'm using the browser version of Discord, in Firefox, as always, sooo...
gollark: What's Nobody's image meant to do anyway? I noticed it when looking at this channel now, and it just says "open in your browser".
