Teresa Selma
Teresa Ramos Selma Monte (born August 13, 1930 in Puerto Píritu[1]) is a Venezuelan actress. She has played roles in film, theater, television and dubbing.

Early life
Selma studied psychiatry in Venezuela and then practised for five years. During the rule of Marco Pérez Jiménez, she migrated to Mexico. Selma then studied theater with director Seki Sano.
Career
She debuted as an actress in the play Love (1850), in 1957. She acted in many Mexican telenovelas, including: La doctora (1964), A la busca (1967) and Cadenas de angustia (1969). More recently, she participated in soap operas such as Ladrón de corazones, Vuélveme a querer and La dueña.
During the 1960s and 70s, Selma worked for several years in dubbing for the now defunct company CINSA. She provided a Spanish voice for actresses including Patsy Kelly, Janet Margolin and Marilyn Monroe.
Selma's most recent work includes performances in theatrical productions such as: El último verano de Sarah Bernhardt (2011),[2] Arráncame la vida (2013)[3] and Yo soy Carlos Marx (2014).[4]
Recognition
In 2015, Selma was honoured for having a career spanning 65 years at the World Season of Performing Arts Quetzalcoatl by Isabel Quintanar, president of the Mexican Center of the International Theatre Institute (ITI).[5]
