Tara (Irtysh)

The Tara (Russian: Тара) is a river in Novosibirsk and Omsk Oblasts in Russia. It is a right tributary of the Irtysh in the Ob's basin. The length of the river is 806 kilometers (501 mi). The area of its basin 18,300 square kilometers (7,100 sq mi).[1] The Tara freezes up in late October or November and stays under the ice until late April or early May.
